Three degrees - Mercy (Greg Wilson Edit)

Greg Wilson has added a volume two to the series "Credit To The Edit". And all 12 edit are done in Greg's usual style: respectfully and very professionally. The acts are as diverse as Roxy Music, A Guy Called Gerald and O.M.D.

Another artist that get's the "Wilson-treatment" is The Third Degree and their Duffy Cover "Mercy". A straight up edit that "just" prolongues the good parts. Btw: The Third Degree project is masterminded by founder of Acid Jazz, Eddie Piller, Frederik Ekander, Swedish label guy with acess to the legendary Cosmos studio, and Marshall Chess, son of Chess label founder. Their mission is to further "real" live recorded music as opposed to digitally recorded music made across the web.
Also on Greg wilson's site I've found a 101 on how to edit with reel-to-reel tape. Maybe just a fun fact, as I guess not even he him self uses this method any longer. Read Greg Wilson's How to edits 101
Check out the rest of Greg Wilson's site as it is a DJ source of interview, history and footage.
